In 2021, thanks to the film The Truffle Hunters, our territory was advertised for free almost all over the world. The directors of the docufilm, Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw, at the same time as the promotion of their masterpiece, have carried out the “Program for the conservation of the land of truffle hunters” and have worked hard to find local and foreign partners to finance our association. Our woodland heritage, partly purchased and partly on loan for free use, has reached 25 ha !! and it will forever be a lung of O2 of incalculable value and a productive and incrementable reserve of truffles.
Today 12 November 2021 in Cisterna a beautiful day with the directors Michael Dweck, Gregory Kershaw and American friends. In the woods of the Terre di Tartufi association, inauguration of the "The Truffle Hunters Nature Reserve", truffle hunting, release of the birds of prey treated by the LIPU of Tigliole and a beautiful illustration of the woods by dr. Edmondo Bonelli.
Today 13 November 2021, at 15.30 in p. Freedom in San Damiano d'Asti, directors Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw will present their masterpiece, the docufilm "The Truffle Hunters". All the actors and friends who participated in the making of this homage to our territory will be present at the event. We, as the Terre di Tartufi association, will be present in full force to applaud and thank them. Thanks to Mike and Greg for giving us a moving portrait of an ancient tradition with the images and soundtracks of the film and for having told the world about the beauty of our territory.
